Week 16 2025.
Fairly quiet this week, More maintenance and debugging react version upgrades. The learnings that come out of this will be interesting.
This specific project has reinforced my belief in complex code impresses no one, it just annoys the hell out of the dev later down the track who dove head first into the labyrinth. Don’t get me wrong, complex code and apps definitely has it’s place but a simple dashboard is not the place it. Folder structure and a solid naming convention is important.
In less ranty news, I finally launched this site (if you find any bugs I’d love to hear about them so I can fix them). Started touching up on my design stuff as it’s not something I’ve formally revisited since my TAFE days.
this is starting to feel forced so I’m going to cut it here
